Facilities

The Alnmaritec site in Blyth, Northumberland, has over 100,000 square feet of covered workshop space together with berths on the River Blyth as well technical and drawing office, commercial and administration offices.

Within the workshops there is a CNC plate cutting facility, a machine shop, an electrical shop, a joiners shop, a minor fabrications area, two stores areas and four main building halls. The workshops are well served by cranes and are equipped with a wide range of machinery which allows for the traditional craftsmanship that characterizes our boats to be combined with the modern construction methods that we employ.

Our boats are normally launched on the River Blyth where Alnmaritec has permanent berth space and alongside support facilities to facilitate final outfitting and trials work. Sea trials are conducted on the River Blyth and in the North Sea where all the boats are put through a rigorous trials programme before being declared ready for delivery.

Alnmaritec also has the facility to work off site on location wherever required and frequently we undertake repair and servicing of boats in the UK and overseas as part of our commitment to the through life support of our boats.
